Well, guys, I'm sad to report that for the first time in my fandom career, I have decided to tap out of spn_j2_bigbang. I just don't have a 20-40K word story in me right now and I don't want to half-ass it.

That being said, you guys can't get rid of me that easily! I have two smaller projects that I'm working on with absolutely amazing artists, and I'm very excited about both.

• Dramatic angstfest for the new spnopera challenge with art by the ridiculous quickreaver

Speaking of both challenges, they start ramping up TOMORROW -- spn_meanttobe begins a month of posting, and spnopera puts up the list of amazing opera summaries, with claims happening this Sunday, May 3rd!

As for all my amazing fellow writers -- KEEP GOING!! I'm cheerleading you on as you head towards the BigBang finish line, and can't WAIT to see what you guys come up with <3

I'm closing in on the end of my story, and I owe about a third of it to you. I had originally cast Misha in a role, and someone convinced me to change it to Chad. I literally know NOTHING about Chad except what I read in your RPFs. We'll have to see how I do with that. EEEeeep.

I'm missing for the first time too. It is sad, but the muse is being a very slow hamster, and though the story is there, there's no way I can get it out in time. But that means we get to wave pom-poms for other people, which is always fun!

I'm really saddened that you won't make big bang this year because your stories were always a high light for me but I know that you really like putting thought into your fics so I understand completely.

Of course then I noticed your fics coming up for the two comms and I was all giddy with delight.

I will be looking forward to those fics sweetie, that is for sure.
