Your stile comes disgustingly close to the original - and I mean that as a compliment. Your Dean is just as scary and with the same contempt for life and human suffering as the narrator of American Psycho. (I read the book, didn't see the movie.)

The tie-in with It's a Terrible Life is done so well. You really nailed Dean's self-image as a killer behind a mask.
