He once dropped acid and then went to the dentist. And one time he went through a pedestrian underpass tunnel and became convinced he'd emerged in San Francisco. I'm sure that's the guy.
I'm one of those desperately trying to convince myself that Carver's playing a deeper game with Sam's story, because if he isn't, I may have to give up on this shit, and I'm not ready to do that yet, goddamnit!. But I do have this fear that Carver just decided to reset both Sam & Dean to factory programming. Dean likes to hunt! Sam wants a normal life! Continuity? What's that? Blergh.
