I saw the sign-ups for the genteensybang and it made me wonder why I don't write more Danneel/Genevieve fic. I mean, that's a good ship, yo. More people should write that ship lol. I mean look at this adorable artwork!

Then again, they're my go-to femslash couple for Supernatural fandom. I'm always sad they're not 'shipped more.

well you know that Danneel is my go-to everything, so it seems only right that I would ship her and Gen haha. I'm still not sure how Gen/Adrianne became the major femslash ship (though it's lovely!) but maybe because of Sam/Jared-related reasons? Or a size kink thing? IDK!

That art is awesome. Although you know 5K for me is like a trillion words. LOL that's why I love springfling :P

Maybe I should sign up and do my Natural Born Killers AU I've been planning. Though maybe that's not Gen-centric enough for the challenge since it would be more pairing-centric?

I've never seen Natural born killers, but as long as the pairing Gen is in is the main pairing, I don't see how it wouldn't work out?

Adrianne is lovely, but I don't get the Gen/her 'ship either unless it was people protesting because Danneel's tie the show really is just that she's with one of the leads?

(Although, that doesn't keep Chad from infecting every RPF fic known to man.)

Most everything I write ends up 5,000 words. Spring Fling drove me up the freaking wall b/c I had to edit to get down to max word count.

Danneel is hot. I want her hair. And her boobs. And her body. Oddly enough, her husband is low on that list.

I was going to write it for the cinema challenge but totally failed almost every longfic challenge last year lol. Maybe I'll sign up and see if I can whip something up in time.

Springfling is my fave because I feel like my best fics are between 500-2500 words. I work better in miniature, I think. I'm a vignette kind of gal!

Danneel is my favorite RPF character and is probably my Mary Sue, which is terrible and yet I give no fucks lol.

I don't hate on him. He's the go-to sidekick. And Disney taught us that stories need sidekicks! I just find it amazing that he's in so many fics, yet really only has ties to Jared.

Eh. I don't think it's bad to Mary Sue Danneel. It's not like anybody is accurately portraying Jared or Jensen. They're archetypes that we enjoy. Why can't we do the same with Danneel?

Well, not really. Chad is classic WB/CWRPF since he was the star of One Tree Hill for years (alongside Danneel). The early years of J2 fic was all about Chad and Tom and Mike and Sophia and Kristen Bell as the peripherals because a lot of the early writers came from Smallville, OTH, et al. fandoms.

Agreed! Fic them is always better than real them lol
