I think the thing about the really emotional episodes like the s2 finale or Croatoan is that I can't rewatch them because I know, having watched ahead, that the boys will never die. The first time I saw Sam die in All Hell Breaks Loose, my tears welled and I went into a full body blush, thinking it was the lowest point for the brothers. Now I know it's just the first in their daisy chain of Suck, and I want to retain that first impression.
