I'm not much of a genfic reader, but when I do read it, it's usually an exploration of the many wonderful side characters (i.e. the stuff we never get to see on the show). The two fics I'm rec'ing here are very different in tone, but share the trait of making the reader see the characters in a different way. I highly recommend both of them, even if genfic isn't usually your thing!
