Hurricane Sandy fandomaid
Nov. 2nd, 2012 02:57 pmHello, everyone! Luckily, my family and I (including new baby) all survived Hurricane Sandy intact, with our power. Half the trees in my neighborhood went down (including one that took out half my neighbor's roof and just missed the powerlines) but no one was injured and we got lucky.
A lot of my fellow tri-state area people did not fare as well as I did though, so I'm offering up my service for the fandomaid Hurricane Sandy relief effort. I'm offering fic of at least 1000 words to the person who bids the highest. The higher the donation, the higher the word count, so go wild! I can't guarantee the fic will be written immediately, because of my current challenge obligations, but it will be the very first thing that I work on after I wrap up what I am doing now.
My thread is HERE and the auction will be open until November 30th. If you don't want to bid, but still want to donate, check out this post HERE.
Thank you in advance and I hope all fellow East Coasters are well!
p.s. My recap for 8.5 is coming! My office building (like the rest of Lower Manhattan) has no power, so I'm working from home and my computer here is a little slower, but know that it's on its way, so watch out for that.
