Oh man, this was awesome. I can't believe you did so much with my prompt. I love the wry humour in this too and Rick's POV was great. This line: Rick wonders how a drifter like Dean manages to have a cavalcade of guys trailing after him actually made me laugh out loud for real.
I was a little worried when I saw it was set in S8 because current canon is so depressing. But wow, you did so much with that. I love the fact that there's obviously something very off between Sam & Dean, which Rick picks up on, and I love how they do get a brief moment of respite and real emotion and communication between them, it makes it all the sweeter to know how fleeting that must've been. Also, thank you for using the current versions of the boys! I love me some younger twinky Sam & Dean, but I love them even more how they look now, older and more worn and world-weary, but even hotter somehow <3
You also managed to include so many of my kinks, how did you do that??? Possessive Sam, and the matching tattoos of incestuous love and Dean smoking and Sam's enormous penis and that's before I get to Dean being DP'd.
