I want to curl up with this and just LOVE it -- this, to me, feels like the gaps in canon, just how it happened, just how it feels. With that little bit of hope that I took from the end of the last episode, that sense that they chose each other freely, in the midst of everything else. That possibility lying in between, just out of reach.... I can feel it there. This is so beautiful.
