Beeeeeebs! You made me do a sniffle! This is so sad and beautiful and I love that you always give John due care and consideration. I love the way the narrative jumps around and ends with the beginning of the story of Sam and Dean. Adored how you wrote the moment with Ellen. I could SEE it playing out in my mind's eye. I don't want to sound patronising but I think your writing just gets better and better, and this is some of your finest work IMHO.
