2) Oh wow, I've written so many that this is a hard question! I think my first bigbang (http://tebtosca.livejournal.com/18464.html) is sentimental for me, mainly because it's the longest thing I've ever written solo, plus it was when I was still new-ish to this fic game and was still writing to amuse myself lol. I love it, even though it's not my most-read fic. For more recent fic, I'm quite fond of the angsty infidelity fic (http://tebtosca.livejournal.com/112949.html) I wrote at the end of last year for SMPC, as well as some of my genfic and vesselfic on the FPF side.

3) I don't know! I have never been able to write more than 5K of Sam/Dean fic, and I'm still trying to figure out why. I've failed the minibang every year, so maybe someone will give me inspiration that Carver denied me lol

Good question, and I could probably write an entire essay on this that would be much more eloquent then anything I write here.

I think that we have to take into account that, like everything, it's different for everyone. Some people write slash and/or porn for the (no judgement on this) shallow reason that they like to imagine specific people together. Others write because they are working out internal things within themselves, from exploring their own sexuality, or the use of kinkfic as a type of therapy for people who have been sexually abused.

I was lucky to have had a very liberal, open-minded mother, who taught me about sex and my body from an early age, in a practical yet nurturing manner. I remember getting the Nancy Friday book My Secret Garden when I was a teenager, and remember how revelatory it was even as part of a later generation to find women sharing their fantasies (and exploring the shame of it) so openly. I think the expression of our desire, however it manifests, is a good thing.

1) Just SPN!

2) I've been writing original fiction my whole life (I was 17 when I finished my first novel-length story) but I mostly do it for myself as a creative outlet so haven't considered publishing. As for my fandom fiction, I wrote them based on pretty specific characters (even if they are just fanon archetypes) so I would have a hard time in my head altering those to be original characters.

I enjoy Twitter, even though the recent changes are terrible. I tweet every day and I use it as a way to communicate with my friends easily, as well as get new info

Tumblr is great to get graphics from, but otherwise I don't understand it at all. I don't particularly like the culture of it, or the functionality, and I think it lacks the immediate community spirit that LJ has.

1) I actually think Sam and Cas have a lot of interesting parallels between them that I wish were explored more in canon. Not sure how Meg and Danneel meet, but I'm going to pretend this is a French Mistake AU and hope it involves a lot of cunnilingus.

1) I would keep all of the elements that we find charming about Dean, and amp up the danger level that already exists in him. Take away any lingering mercy or empathy, and make his viciousness a shock when it comes out because of HOW charming he is (like the great demons before him).

2) If they actually do it properly and give Sam a "Mystery Spot" or (like Jared wants) "we have to find Dad" type of quest to get Dean back to cure him, then I wouldn't mind a half a season. Not sure how they can do that with the structure of the show though. The 5th episode is the big 200th episode, so I'm expecting something major to happen then

3) Ha! That's a hot picture, but we'll see. I do have to write something for smpc in June, so any idea is a good idea!

4) I'm a New Yorker who lived through that day, lived next to a fire house that lost 75% of it's members, and have a boyfriend who lost a sister in the Towers, so I consider conspiracy theories to be a futile endeavor. A group of cowardly terrorists used large metal objects full of fuel to kill a fuck ton of innocent people. That's what I think about the matter.

1) I gave a version of this answer to someone else up top, but I would have Dean run off with Crowley to partake in some demony shenanigans, keeping Dean his charming Dean-esque self, but with the merciless demon viciousness underneath him vs. some boring soldier/killer type. Then, set Sam on an epic, pissed, proactive Mystery Spot-esque quest to track him brother down and cure him with his blood in an epic display of incestuous blood-sharing between soulmates (shhh, it's canon).

2) I love the Metropolitan Opera, for obvious reasons, but also because there is a sense of history there that I adore, and it makes me excited every time I see the Chagalls in the foyer or the chandeliers go up.

3) I love almost all of them (GTFO of here, Mark Murphy, you are not necessary) but my favorites are a tie between SCOTT, who is such a douchebag but his pheromones speak to my id, and Alex, whose face is just so perfectly over all of your shit even as you know deep down inside she is a gentle, sensitive soul. Not at all coincidentally, in the Chopped AU in my mind, Jared is Scott and Jensen is Alex, so the shipping is there even in this answer lol
