I'm going to blatantly steal a comment meme that dugindeep and raeschae did yesterday, and ask you guys to prompt me for timestamps to ANY of the fics in my MASTERLIST. If you've ever wanted me to write something for one of the worlds I've written, this is your chance to ask for it! Just list the fic or verse you want, and a prompt for what you would like to see.

I haven't written even one sentence since Amy and I posted our BB, so I'm hoping this might force me to put words on (virtual) paper lol. Fingers crossed!

Jared and Jensen buy a Christmas tree

“This is totally your fault,” Jensen hisses. His breath puffs up in the air in front of him and he gets even madder because of it.

“What’s my fault?” Jared asks, completely nonchalant, as he wanders aimlessly through the lot looking at Christmas trees.

“It was your bright idea to get our families together for Thanksgiving, and if you hadn’t done that, then our parents wouldn’t have bonded and decided to take a cruise together instead of staying home and doing important things like baking us Christmas cookies to be eaten in front of a fire.” Jensen shivers. “A warm fire. Warm. Opposite of cold.”

Jared goes over to one gigantic tree—seriously, it’s bigger than their living room—and does some sort of shaking motion that makes sense only to him. “So, let me get this straight, you are mad at me because our parents get along well enough to go on vacation together.”

Jensen huffs. It doesn’t sound quite as, well, egregious when Jared says it like that.

“I’m saying you suck.”

Jared finally looks at him, but only to wink. “And how.”

Asshole.

“This is serious you know. I mean, if we break up now than it’s going to affect the dynamic of both of our entire families,” Jensen tries a new tactic, fussing with his gloves because it gives him something to concentrate on.

Suddenly, Jared is right up in his face, his usually ridiculously happy mouth tilted down into a very un-Jared-like frown. “You want to break up?”

“What?” Jensen says, panicked. His voice might be a little higher pitched than usual. “No! I mean, do you want to break up?”

“You’re the one who brought it up.”

“Well, yes, but that doesn’t mean that I meant it!”

“So, then you don’t want to break up?”

“No, of course not!”

“And our families getting along is a good thing, right?”

“Yes, of course it is, it’s wonderful.”

“Good, glad we agree then.”

Jensen doesn’t even realize how the worm has turned until Jared’s stupid grin is back on his stupid face.

“You still suck,” Jensen growls, squinting in what he hopes is a threatening manner.

Jared leans down and smacks a loud kiss to Jensen’s freezing mouth. “What about this tree over here?”

“It’s at least seven inches too big for the living room,” Jensen grumbles, but he rubs his fingers over his lips to keep in the warmth of Jared’s touch.

“We’ll take it,” Jared calls out to the tree seller.

“Why do I bother?” Jensen huffs again.

Jared turns to him and smiles. A smaller one, just for him. “Because you love me.”
