BigBang and other goodies

I'm excited today because it's that time of year again--signups for spn_j2_bigbang! I can't believe a year has gone by so fast, especially since I had such a blast co-writing with dugindeep and getting arted up by ldyghst. This year, I'm going back to the J2 AU route, and I'm super psyched because I have an idea that I love and have been hoarding for a while. It's fun and just a wee bit cracky with a cast of thousands. One word: COSTUMES.

Everyone else needs to go signup immediately! If you've never done it before, give it a shot! It doesn't hurt to signup and it's one of the best parts of fandom.

Meanwhile, I'm working on some fills, so expect some incoming fic! Also, my j2_everafter fic decided that Jensen needed to have tentacles, so all appropriate shenanigans to come.

Haha yes, and you were totally taunting me with that "no schmoop" thing, admit it! You know my schmoopy ways :P

No worries, I'm just glad to know that you read them and enjoy them! Sometimes I worry that I'm being too negative, but then I remember that if people have been reading them this long, then they know me and know that most of it is satire (and also that I mock because I love). I do crosspost them to my journal, so if you ever want to comment here, I'm always happy to have discussions!

Oh I love that you point out the (many) flaws of the show, but in a fond kind of way ;-) We mock because we love and also because we know that they can do so much better. But I've resigned myself to constant frustration this year.

I think, for me, it goes back to my terrible chocolate cake analogy--I'm just so disappointed because I was so excited about Carver. I mean, he was my favorite SPN writer before whatever the hell is happening this season haha. Damn, at this point, I'm missing Robo!Sam :P
