Happy Monday, flist! Hope you all had a great weekend. I watched the last 30 minutes of Breaking Bad last night, even though I have never actually watched the series lol. Either way, it was somehow very satisfying, so kudos to the non-Carver-esque showrunner

My OCD loves lists, so I figured I would compile one for the things I have coming up, fic-wise.

I'm hoping that my giftee actually reads the fic I write for this exchange unlike the last one, but I'm feeling pretty good about my odds with this one lol. Kudos to bertee for doing an amazing modly job.

I'm pretty happy with my prompts too, so happy I started writing the fic the same day I got them. But I haven't gone back to it because of work, then my dad came to visit (I hadn't seen him in seven years) and now I have the evil fucking flu (fml x1000) D: So itching to just keep going but my body it's like "No, go back to sleep idiot."

XD I actually asked the day off for the RBB claiming. Nothing is getting on my way of claiming my first choice wuahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Oh man, the past two years I had to get up at 3am for RBB claiming, but it was worth it for the art I got lol

Very glad to hear you're joining the fun in the SMPC! Hooray! I'm working on all but one of the above, plus there are about 4 different fics in my head that have been trying to get themselves written simultaneously. I'm taking frantic notes so I can actually remember what I was thinking when I get a chance to write.

I'm working on my bigbang for next year, it will probably take me until just before the submit deadline to finish it, LOL!
I'm looking forward to everything you write for upcoming writting projects and I'm guessing that you put the month before the date in your posting information up above, I'm Irish, it confuses me sometimes when its done differently to how I do it, *snorts*.
Also nice icons, very pretty indeed, especially Jensen's face.

Wow! BB already??? That's impressive haha. I'm such a procrastinator, and even this year I changed my entire story 2 weeks before drafts were due lol

An idea came to me for a story and I had to start writing it, it's only at 5,000 words so far but its a start. I still wont have it finished before Christmas though, I'm never that lucky, lol.
Even though you sometimes change your fic ideas, the new story is always just as good.
Glad for the date clarification :)

Also - if it makes you feel better - my writer last year dropped out on J2_Xmas. I'm guessing because I said, no, I didn't want gen fic for my Sam/Dean pairings because I wanted Sam/Dean romance.

(I'm a gen fic snob, so this year I stipulated no gen fic in my likes/dislikes. But I forgot 'no wife bashing' so I'm crossing my fingers I don't get evul!Dannee-ul.)

I am excited about my xmas assignment as well! Not excited enough to have started writing yet, obviously, but it'll happen eventually.

Today is final edits day for my Sherlock omegaverse bigbang and then probably I should be working on my fundraiser fics that I am so horrendously behind on. Slacker is me.

Wow, maybe I'm wrong here but it seems like if someone takes the time and energy to write a fic for you that it would be considered incredibly bad manners not to even comment on it! Well for what it's worth I don't think I've read anything from you I didn't like, and I'm looking forward to reading what you do next!

As for me, I want to do more fannish works but short stories still elude me - they all want to be novel length stuff. Then I have my muse in my ear whispering, "Hey you know what would be fun for next years big bang? Epic fantasy!" I think my muse hates me.

Also trying to organize a dystopian Sherlock story where the Officer from Kafka's In the Penal Colony takes over London, and am wondering if the kink I'm toying with has a name. What do you call the desire to be encased inside a doll body?

Yeah it's J2 in one bit and Cockles in a later section :) I saw the trailer for Only God Forgives and was suddenly all "I really need the Boys to wear suits and hats and smoke and talk tough".
